Praise God — in this month of November we are seeing even more fruit from the feeding program ministry located in downtown Hadar, Haifa. In just the past month, six people agreed to join the rehabilitation program and to live there, knowing that the Gospel is being preached. Five of them have remained and are continuing in the program.
One of the people God touched is Vlad. This is his first time ever entering a rehabilitation program and also the first time he has held and read a Bible. He came to the program from Haifa exhausted both emotionally and physically, arriving with a black eye. But the moment he entered the House of Mercy, God began to work miracles in his life. On his second day, he was miraculously set free from smoking after being an addicted smoker for around 30 years. We are also amazed by his hunger for the Word of God — it is as if God gave him a new addiction. He reads the Bible almost all the time except when he stops to eat. He actively participates in all the Bible studies taking place, and we can clearly see that God has ignited his life. Please pray for him to continue strong and to become a beacon of light and hope for others.
Additionally, in our adaptation home (the second level of rehabilitation), we currently have two people living there: Dima and Valentine. One has been there for eight months, and the other for about one year — praise God. They regularly visit the rehabilitation House of Mercy for Bible studies, fellowship, and to serve at the Haifa feeding center. Valentine has also recently gotten a job and is now working, providing for himself, and helping with the rent of the adaptation home. This is a major step toward the independent, victorious life that God has envisioned for His children. Please keep Dima and Valentine in prayer as well, asking God to reveal their calling and continue leading them.
In general, currently we are going through the book of Romans – chapter by chapter and diving into God’s plan of salvation and into the clear message there that we are all saved only through grace that is found only in Yeshua. Little by little God is building every one of us into His house of habitation. We are very glad for all that God is doing in this ministry by His mercy. None of this is possible without the support of others, which enables us to continue His work in reaching the lost with the love and Gospel of Yeshua. Please pray for us and for all the people we interact with at the Haifa feeding program and at the rehabilitation shelter in Karmiel.
